What matters tomorrow?
I’m an economic historian by training, an entrepreneur and investor by experience. I’ve written for The New York Times and The Atlantic, and am currently a book about the new rules of work, wealth, and power for Simon & Schuster.
I’ve worn many hats: party promoter, infantry soldier, PE executive, tech entrepreneur, and writer. I’ve been shot at, gone viral, gambled my savings on a failed startup, and made a small fortune in crypto. These days, I help some of the world’s largest companies, investment firms, and governments make sense of economic change.
Each of these experiences informs my writing, especially my most important role: that of a father. What practical insights can help my children thrive in a world that grows more unpredictable, disproportionate, and volatile every day? How can I make the most of my own time to leave them with more resources for experimentation and discovery?
This newsletter is where I share what I learn and learn from what others share. Subscribe to join the conversation.
